Artificial intelligence (AI) seismology

Earthquake science has entered the era of big data. Massive seismic data need to be processed automatically and even intelligently. Meanwhile, massive data has become a valuable resource for uncovering scientific laws. DAMS is committed to applying AI to intelligent seismic data processing (such as earthquake monitoring and early warning technologies), and scientific discoveries in seismology (including earthquake source process, physics of the Earth’s interior).

Distributed acoustic sensing (DAS) seismology

DAS is a novel technology for ultra-dense seismic monitoring. It converts a regular optical fiber into thousands of seismic sensors, providing an important supplement to traditional seismic monitoring. DAMS is committed to the development of DAS-based seismic monitoring, fault detection, subsurface structure imaging, urban underground space and engineering monitoring technologies.
